Reflections

Hey Everyone! Over the last 5 weeks, I have learned a ton in the world of technology. Coming into class I had the mindset that technology is the demise of school today. I see kids every day not paying attention to teachers or not interacting with each other, but through these last 5 weeks, this class has taught me there are ways to get students involved without letting them run free. From learning the drop-dead basics in week one to making my own video, this class has taught me to think, reflect, create, and enjoy the work assigned (can't say that for previous classes). Looking at all the educational programs that are availble to students today (especially with the outbreak of COVID-19), kids are further along then even when I was in school 20 years ago (can only play Oregon Trail so many times). This class has shown me to create google forms, give video responses, think outside the box, use creative ways to teach students, use social media as a tool, start blogs, and many more. I think without saying this class single-handedly will be the one I use the most going forward. Remember if someone starts with Q1, you better answer with A1. 😂😂😂😂
